As a devoted Christian, husband, and father of five boys, Michael serves as the CEO of Replace Your University, where he drives innovation in accessible education. As Chairman of Funds of Freedom, a non-profit dedicated to aiding victims of sex trafficking, he channels his faith and compassion into empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity. With a strong foundation in family values and a commitment to social impact, Michael blends strategic leadership with a heartfelt mission to foster positive change in communities worldwide. Michael’s belief that if we are blessed, we should be a blessing to others continues with the mission created by Funds of Freedom.
Tim Adcox
Executive Director / Member at Large
A calling to ministry is the defining focus of Tim's life. He is an ordained minister and has served in many roles on church staff. Those roles have caused him to focus on his two primary passions: sports and missions. He has run community sports leagues out of the church and developed the mission strategy at Smoke Rise Baptist Church where he served for over 25 years. More recently he has founded a nonprofit ministry, Heart of a Champion Sports which provides spiritual and character training to athletes. Heart of Champion Sports has trained over 4,000 athletes. He is married to Laura and they are expecting their first two grandchildren this fall. Tim and Laura have been clients of Replace Your University for five years. He enjoys golf, pickleball and working out.
Cody Hutchin

Cody encountered Jesus in first grade in one of the most unchurched cities in America—Portland, Oregon—and has been pursuing Him ever since. With over 15 years of ministry experience, he has served as a worship leader, small group leader, and community builder, always driven by one passion: to see people walk in the freedom Jesus came to bring.
Cody also serves as the Sales Manager at Replace Your University, where he leads with a conviction that the workplace is one of the most powerful grounds for discipleship and transformation. He equips his team to connect heart to skill—developing not just as professionals, but as people walking into the fullness of who God created them to be.
He is a devoted husband to Lauren and a proud new father to their son, Axel. For Cody, any opportunity to be part of someone’s freedom story is a life well spent.
Derrick Minyard
Treasurer
Derrick Minyard is a storyteller at heart who’s been in the marketing world for over a decade. He got his start after graduating from SCAD in 2013 with a degree in sound design and music, then worked his way through roles like videographer, content creator, and creative director. These days he runs marketing for Replace Your University and serves as Treasurer for Funds of Freedom. He came to know Jesus in college back in 2012, and that moment changed everything. Derrick’s married to his best friend Rachel, they’ve got two awesome boys, and when he’s not building funnels or filming content, you’ll probably find him outside, playing music, or chasing his kids around.
